Complimentary Exam

Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, beautiful smile that you've always wanted. Your first visit to our office will be a free exam for you or your child. Dr. Wilson will carefully examine the teeth to determine which treatment options will best meet your needs. At this appointment, diagnostic records will be taken, which include a clinical examination, photos of the patient's face and teeth, and X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for you. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care. Once Dr. Wilson has a clear picture of the most likely course of treatment, we will sit down with you to discuss what type of treatment is necessary, how long it will take, and estimate how much it will cost. If you have orthodontic insurance, please bring your insurance card to your initial appointment so we can determine your orthodontic benefits. 

Regular Appointments

After your initial appointment, we will schedule to get your new appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) placed. This appointment typically takes about an hour. Then adjustment appointments are scheduled at regular intervals four to eight weeks apart to ensure appropriate progression of treatment, which takes about 15 to 30 minutes.

Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.

Dental Appointments During Orthodontic Treatment

It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months, even during orthodontic treatment, for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups.
